    : Welcome to Halifax, gateway to Atlantic Canada! A complimentary transfer is provided to the Trafalgar hotel. Your Tour Director will be at the hotel after 6:00pm to welcome you.

    : This morning, we explore the many points of interest of this historic city, including a visit to the Citadel National Historic Site. The afternoon is at leisure. Why not join us for an optional excursion to picturesque Peggy's Cove, one of the most scenic fishing villages in the Maritimes and one of the most photographed locations in Canada. (Full Breakfast)
    Day 3Halifax - Sherbrooke Village - Baddeck (2 nights) Halifax - Sherbrooke Village - Baddeck (2 nights)
    : Heading north, we stop at the Fisherman's Life Museum where we learn about the life of a coastal village family in the early 1900's. Next, we visit Historic Sherbrooke Village, a living museum depicting a late 19th century Nova Scotian village. We then cross the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island and arrive in Baddeck on beautiful Bras d'Or Lake.(Full Breakfast, Dinner)

    : First, we visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site with its fascinating collection commemorating this man's inventive genius. Later, we follow the Cabot Trail, one of the most beautiful drives in North America and discover Cape Breton Highlands National Park, a spectacular landscape of deep-walled canyons, sandy beaches, majestic cliffs, and abundant wildlife. We return to Baddeck late afternoon. (Full Breakfast)

    : Leaving Cape Breton, we re-cross the Canso Strait and journey to the quaint fishing town of Pictou. We cross the Northumberland Strait by ferry to Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest and greenest province. We then travel through the vivid colors of its gently rolling landscape to charming Charlottetown.(Full Breakfast)

    : We join a local guide and drive up to the north shore where we explore the spectacular shoreline of Prince Edward Island National Park. In Cavendish, we visit Green Gables, the storybook home of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of its first publication. This evening, why not attend an optional performance of the popular musical Anne of Green Gables (Full Breakfast, Dinner)
    Day 7Charlottetown - Shediac Bay - Moncton Charlottetown - Shediac Bay - Moncton
    : We cross the Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick and stop at Shediac Bay. Here we join a lobstering cruise, complete with a delicious lobster lunch served on board. Next, we visit the Olivier Soapery and learn about the traditional craft of soap-making in the early 19th century. We overnight in Moncton, a city known for its French and English heritage. (Full Breakfast, Lunch)

    : We travel along the scenic coast of the Bay of Fundy to the Hopewell Rocks. Learn from our interpretive guide about this group of amazing "flowerpot" rock formations sculpted by the highest tides in the world. Bid farewell to your Tour Director as you embark on an independent rail journey back to Halifax, where a complimentary transfer is provided to Halifax International Airport or to the Trafalgar hotel in Halifax for passengers extending their stay.
